Supporting families
through reproductive loss
About the event
Carry Me is a free, family-friendly event created to hold space for ALL kinds of families and individuals who have experienced reproductive loss. Whether through miscarriage, stillbirth, infant loss, termination medical or personal, adoption placement, or infertility—every story matters!
Celebrate, reflect, connect, and remember... together
When:September 7, 2025
Where:Saint-Raymond Community Center - 5600 Upper Lachine Rd, Montréal QC H4A 2A7
Time:2:00 PM to 5:30 PM
What to Expect:
This gentle, joyful, and reflective afternoon is designed for the whole family—including siblings, grandparents, extended family, and chosen family.
The event runs from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM, and participants are welcome to arrive at any point during that time.
Upon arrival, families will be invited to explore a series of themed activity stations spread throughout the venue. Each station offers a unique experience—creative, contemplative, or playful—centered on memory-making, connection, and honoring our babies.
Families are free to move from station to station at their own pace, with no pressure or expectations to participate in anything that doesn’t feel right for them. This is a space to engage gently, reflect meaningfully, and connect however feels most comfortable.
At 5:15 PM, Laura, the Executive Director of the Centre for Reproductive Loss will offer a few words and also take a moment to announce the winners of the silent auction.
This event is an initiative of the Centre for Reproductive Loss, made possible thanks to the generous collaboration of several NDG-based organizations. The CRL is deeply grateful for their support and participation in helping create this meaningful community space.

Rainbow Babies
& Little Feet Station
A “rainbow baby” is a child born after the loss of a previous baby—a symbol of hope after a storm.
Crafts, games, and surprise playful activities designed especially for children and siblings.
This station will be run in collaboration with Parents Engagés pour la Petite Enfance (PEP) and The Family Care Collective, who are generously supporting this space.

Carry Me
Community
Memory Mural
An art space for families to create a collective tribute—each member is invited to draw or paint something meaningful for the baby they carry in their hearts.
This station will be run in collaboration with Bienvenue NDG, who are generously supporting this space.

Stories That
Carry Us Station
A quiet space to write, read, or reflect—share quotes, messages, or simply sit with the words of others walking a similar journey.

Gathering Tent
A relaxed space to rest, sip coffee, and connect with other grieving families and parents. Come meet people who understand, and let the conversations unfold gently.

Silent Auction
Featuring original art created by rainbow babies, bereaved siblings, and parents touched by loss. These one-of-a-kind pieces are not just art—they are stories of love, remembrance, and healing.
Among the featured pieces are works by the Rojo de la Vega family—a Mexican family touched by reproductive loss through termination and miscarriage. The artwork was created by the daughters of Laura Aguilar, Executive Director of the Centre for Reproductive Loss (CRL). Meet Laura, Adrián, Pía, Macarena, María, Sofía, and Bruno the dog—each bringing color and memory into the pieces they created to honor the babies no longer in their arms.
We are also honored to showcase donated artwork by Ashleigh, a birth mother (a woman who placed her child for adoption), pictured with her daughter and her daughter’s mom. Her pieces speak of layered love, grief, and connection across families and generations.
All proceeds from the auction will go directly to the Centre for Reproductive Loss (CRL), a registered Canadian charity. Your support helps us continue offering grief care programs, educational initiatives, and community projects for families navigating reproductive loss.
Tax receipts will be issued for all donations made through the auction.
Snacks &Treats
Fruit, coffee, and water will be available.
This is an ECO-Friendly Event!
We invite guests to bring their own water bottles to refill at the Community Center’s fountain, and to bring their own snacks, especially to accommodate allergies and dietary needs.
Why This Matters
Because no family should walk through reproductive loss alone.
Because every baby matters.
Because art, connection, and community can hold what words cannot.
